Christmas

Hi

Well it has been some time since i posted, we have been busy getting back into the routine of school etc... but have managed to get a bit of crocheting done.

Thinking ahead to christmas have done two decorations so far, christmas pudding with a red button for my cherry and white and cream buttons for th white sauce and then red and white buttons for the baubles on the christmas tree too... i think they have come out very well.

We have also gained a new dresser, she needs a touch up and then we are goining to paint and wax her, so will keep you all posted, am so pleased with it, courtesy of my lovely parents, i have already popped my sewing machine (courtesy of the mother in law) inside with all my sewing bits and the draws are ful of tubs with buttons in ( i know hey will all need to come out to paint her) but in the mean time she looks just fine.

Hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to having a float through blog land with a cuppa in a bit (once Jess is tucked up in bed)

Take care and have a good week all

Evening All,

Just a quick post as just had to share a pic of my bunting.

I have crocheted it in lovely simple triangles and then added them to a crochet "string".  The string is approx 250cm long and have done 9 triangles, am so pleased how it has turned out and now all i need is my dresser so i can make some to go on that... probably in blues and pinks.

Enjoy your evening

Little Hanging Hearts

Afternoon All

Well... little one is finally back at school and the crocheting is now flowing... when i say little one.. she is 9 (10 next april) so she is not that little really but will always be my baby!

Have added a selection of my crochet hanging hearts i have been making, they are corcheted in a dc stitich and amazingly was just experimenting on how to do it as i just couldn't do the granny stitch ones and i came up with these... i hae them down to a tee now so have been doing lots  (well 6 altogether)
and then have filled them with wading and added some pretty buttons and then tried them with ribbon to start with to hang them but it just didn't seem to quite go so my hubby suggested to crochet a row (chain) and hang them with that.. he can be quite clever sometimes... and they hae come out lovely... they also look good hung with lace.. i have one i made for our bedroon in cream with blue buttons that i hung with lace which looks lovely

This last one i crocheted a small heart and then added it on with a button to make it a bit different, i hope you like them i do have them for sale in my ebay store http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shabby-Chic-Crochet-Wool-Cream-Heart-Red-Buttons-/200649608653?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2eb7a60dcd  this link take you straight to the cream with red buttons (hopefully)

Anyway... i hoep you like them, am working on some bunting which i used the same method as my hearts, hope to finish it tonight and pop it on during the week,

Hope you all have a great week
